Calhoun's On The River

Great location, amazing brisket, and friendly staff. My husband and I enjoyed lunch today sharing the Bacon Wrapped Beef Brisket Burnt Ends (not burnt at all) and the Beef Brisket Chili Nachos with Beer Cheese Sauce!! So delicious, so filling, and melt in your mouth brisket with tongue tingling sauce!! The bbq sauce served with the Bacon Wrapped Brisket was so good, my husband continued to eat it by dipping his fingers in the sauce...so it truly was finger licking good:). We sat right on the water with an amazing view of the river, the restaurant temperature was just right too!!

Always try to go there when we are going to an event at University of Tennessee. Recently went there before a concert and it was great! Great food and love the atmosphere. Had a great waiter named JD and he was wonderful with my son. Food was really good from steaks to BBQ. Service was great! Will definitely be going back!

Calhoun's Restaurant in Knoxville does not provide a safe environment for customers or staff. They have the employees sign a document that their temperatures are taken when they haven't been. Just one example of how the owners are only concerned about profit. This pandemic has shown the good, bad, and ugly of companies. Due to this company purposely disregarding safety regulations for the sake of profit, I can promise you won't be getting any more of my money. ✌️
